Everyday Einstein – 8.4.2010

In this economic downturn, we all work hard to make money. Here’s a puzzle about a man who earns it, and then does the exact opposite of what you think he should:

“A man took considerable trouble to acquire some money, but then quickly gave most of it away? Why?

– He did not intend to give the money away, and did not do so under altruistic motives.

– He was under pressure.

– He was not a stockbroker.

– He was not trying to launder his money in the usual sense of the word.
